Udemy has a commission structure whereby if I do my own marketing, I keep 97% of the course fee paid, whereas if a student finds the course via the site, the payout could be as low as 25%.

If this is the case, I'd prefer to pay some 3rd party to do my marketing. Do people already do this?

Anyone with info -- does it make sense to simultaneously post 10 courses at once? I want the student to see what else they can learn. Posting 1 course seems like a missed opportunity.

UDEMY started out as a great resource, but is has become kinda "SPAMMY" as of late, with tons of courses that just cover the basics and the refer you somewhere else. Just so you know. DS

Thanks for the insight.

Is it so spammy as to not be worth posting some courses? My niche is thriving elsewhere, but has very little content on Udemy (all the old instructors in the field aren't savvy to the internetz, and are also dying off).
