Is This A Negative SEO?

It's possible that it's negative SEO. But not necessarily. What are the anchor texts toward your site like? If they are things like "buy viagra" or "anal sex help," then it's plausible it's negative SEO. Also, how many are there? If there are a huge number of them, that is also a sign it might be a deliberate attempt at negative SEO.

If there are just a few of them and then anchor text isn't particularly spammy, then it's probably not negative SEO.

In terms of what you should do, probably don't do anything unless you're seeing noticeable drops in rankings. If you are seeing rankings drop, you might try disavowing them. Am not sure if disavow even really does anything, but you could do it.

Actually the anchor text is not "viagra". It's totally related to my keyword.

In ahrefs they are showing since yesterday. 5 yesterday, today the same also.
 
Probably one of your competitors. Disavow them when they affected your rankings to bottom.

LOL cause "viagra" and "free sex" is actually negative SEO, only in the minds of fools.

No, what would be far more negative is building a steady pace of shitty kinds of links to your site using your actual keywords. A steady flow of shit social signals. You think Google does not understand what a kiddies version of nseo is? Completely unrelated anchors to your site?

Keep an eye on it and monitor your rankings. If you continue to find more links and your rankings drop, then consider doing something. As @mickyfu mentioned, it could still be an attempt at negative SEO by someone who has put a little more thought into it than trying a GSA blast of unrelated links. But there are also other possible explanations. Even if it is an attempt, whether or not it will actually hurt your site is hard to tell. If you have a reputable site then even well-designed negative SEO campaigns are going to have a harder time lowering your rankings, whereas if you have a newer site with no other SEO, it might be a larger issue.

Also, the anchor text that is "totally related to [your] keyword" - is that like all exact match for your keyword? Or just vaguely niche related?

Hi,

It's not all exact match for my keyword. They are related to the keyword mostly.

However, I don't worry about that anymore because I deleted the post where these links were coming.

In my OP this is not a negative SEO because they would aim for my homepage and not an inner one.

The problem I think, is that I linked to a "spammy" website than these links started coming.

I'm not really on about just exact match. Just generally making shite links with related anchors.

It could be possible that someone has a similar domain name and made a typo.
 
I wouldn't be too worried, a friends site has had over 4000 pussy and porn anchor text links and is still ranking #1. Google knows your site is about SEO or whatever and they know you won't be sending porn links etc to them. Disavow them if you want to be super safe
 
Since I started receiving those links my organic traffic has dropped from 100 visitors a day to 60.

Is there any possible thing I can do to remove these bad links?

They are not made into my homepage but to a post of my site. I removed the site, now it reddirects to 404 page.

Should I start to disawow these links?
 
All the links are pointed at a 404 page? How much traffic per day did that page get before you took that page down?
 
I figured out what's the deal behind this. I gave a link to a site's dude and he bought 5$ fiverr gig blog commenting to that post.

So the question again, will removing the post solve the problem? or since it goes to 404 it has the same impact?

HAHAHAHAHA. This is so fun. I wouldnt do anything unless it harms your ranking. Then you can make it 404 or change url (without 301/302 redirect), which will result in 404, too

Dude I said that I've got negative impact about this. I contacted the guy who launched the blog commenting list and got the report.

I've sent all the urls to google disawow tool.

The thing is that I had a file with some urls disawowed before.

Now it says this

Submitting this file will override the existing file. Do you want to continue?


If I continue the all domains will be deleted? There's only one file allowed to be disawowed?

1. Disavowing links literally does nothing, from my tests.
2. Download you old file, add the new urls to it. then re upload the file.

One more reason to avoid linking to shitty websites / to ignore people's [shitty] requests for [shitty] guest posts.

Are you sure the decrease in traffic is because of these links? There are a lot of things that can account for such fluctuations. Especially on a smaller scale of under 100 visitors per day. Are you actually seeing a decrease in rankings? Or just a decrease in traffic?
 
No need to disavow if you can manually remove those links. As for your question, do not replace with new links. Download the previous disavow file, add those new links to it and submit.
