GSA works well for tier 3 these days...

I would recommend Press Releases + guest posts + web2.0s + PBNs for your first tier links. (WIth good content of course)

Rest depends upon your budget and keyword profitability

How can one say rankerx is good for tier 1. I am much into black hat and honestly uaing this soft is a waste of time. Not because it doesnt work but because it takes ages to rank if compared to other types of backlinks.

OP if you want to invest money in a tool I would go for any expired domain scrapper and learn how to rank this way.

SEREngines 2 supports 24 sites NOT 37 sites, It's expensive but it's the best seo tool for Tier 2/3

Of course. I'm also go for any expired domain scrapper, also using RankerX to manage wordpress softhost and Tumblr expired domain,... it worked really well

You can track visitors to my site, from 0 traffic(June - 2016) to 13.000 visitors and it still remain ~7.500 visitors daily so far.

Unless I owned a time machine, so I could go back to 2011... no.

Build T1 manually and then feel free to automate SOME of your T2 links and all your T3 if you like. I just cringe to think that people would risk a money site link blasting it with tools in today's SEO landscape when they can build a safe layer with not much more effort.

I disagree with you all.

If you can get the list of heigh links then any app is brillint.

It all in the list and always has been .

Dont matter what tier your in it the list ,
Trust me good list does wonders .

Thousands use tier 1 on gsa , scrapebox, others but they get a list from there suplier .

The misc of this forum have users that provide lists ......

You can also join a database provider where the database is kept up with a fresh list , but there / monthly cost .....

Applications still get used but it knowing how to use them and getting good lists.

You can also scrape your own list but takes long time and needs to be sorted out from good to bad links ,very time consumming and very proxie intensive most just buy a list or join a database....

Xrunner is still a number one in seo applications .$50/m

But like i said there others like scrapebox and gsa that still hold there place.....

There even more powerful apps online
For link building and used for pbn ....

As already mentioned, its all in the list. I am testing a bunch of stuff right now ranging from fully automated to tier one/two manual to see how it goes. If the tests with manual stuff work then I plan to get Zennoposter and learn to use it to automate the process. It is essentially automating the process of posting to higher quality sites that I currently use a human for. Although I have recently had a few sites seemingly receive a penalty that I used SER (GSA SER) on I am confident I know what I did wrong as other pages using SER have not been hit.

Another thing that I see on here with SER is the presumption it can only do spam blasts when people say you can use it on tier one. You can use it to post to your Wordpress, Drupal or Joomla Private Blog Networks if you like. You can take the time and effort to try and scrape a high-quality list with it too if you like but it gets CRAZY expensive quickly so I wouldn't recommend doing it in all honesty but you can still use the cheaper list building processes to build your lists if you like and see what you get.

dont use automated tools for tier 1. I will be posting a case study soon of some results with tools and man those sites got hit so hard. They don't move at all. All the above tools mentioned can harm your sites way too much and you will move on to something new an waste time and money. But yeah as tier 2 and tier 3 they work good.

IMO don't use automation tools directly on money site. It may affect your site. Try to use quality Guest posts, PBN, etc as a tier 1 links and use automation tools as tier 3 links.

GSA, Scrape, are good at automation. But, using these tools directly to your money is a risky practice. So, always use tiered strategy

What about using blast on tier 1 with generic and branded KW ? So far it lowers my % of the real good links from PBN. I saw many people doing this. Also from my tests it recovers websites with penalty.
Anyone on this ?

The problem is not with automation but with quality. If you could automate buying PBN and posting then automation will work fine. It's just that automation using these link building tools is now a bad practice as those links are spammy.

Think about it, buying links from BST is automation too. You are using a human instead of a bot. But because of the link quality (which is different not necessarily good), they "might" work better than tools.
