Bitcoin fear

Today I was trying to buy Bitcoin from a very realibale vendor on localbitcoin. He said to me:

''Man I'll be honest, there will probably be a fork in these days, so do not buy bitcoins cause the transactions may be lost''

He was a bitcoin vendor... he could make profit selling me bitcoins, but he didn't do it

Why Did he said this to me?

I wanted to buy bitc to invest in some ICOs and criptocurrncies in which I believe

Some big BTC sellers shut shop to see what's going to happen the next 48+ hours. People fear a split.

Yes they shut their shop cause they know there will be the fork....man the problem is that vendor could have made profit by my transacion, but he rejected it..cause he 's been honest with me: ''there will be probably a fork, the transactions could be lost'', he said to me

People are not supposed to buy or sell BTC since july 22 as per Bitcoin's official website.

Also up to 10 days later you can still lose transactions. Hold tight.

By the way on August 1 you'll own the same number of BTC and BCC because of the fork, so if you think BCC will crash, sell it on 12:20 pm august 1. If you think it's gonna win, hold it.

I think, that he dont want to sell because he know that BTC will be increasing and will get more PROFIT if he keeps the BTC. [Based on what i've saw on btc-talk tread.] So just try to find another vendor.

I wonder if thw fork will there be, How the hell can I buy other criptocurriencies?

I am intersted in some ICOs and cripto...but without bitcoin I can't buy them

Bitcoin price very fluctuates... so many lost their money in bitcoin. My suggestion is that hold bitcoins
