Read the breakdown of the scam from the Mod. I can't teach common sense.

I can't even begin to imagine being scammed by this guy and knowing that he will be allowed to stay here and will be back in a month. WOW. Just....WOW. Very revealing about the culture and attitude within the Mods.

And again, insulting or offending a Mod is NOT grounds for a ban anyways. He has every right to defend himself and point out any flaws that he feels about the way the process was handled whether he is right or wrong. He got banned because the Mod got personally offended. PERIOD.

I believe that he wasn't banned for insulting a Mod, he was banned for insulting other members.
He hasn't received a permanent ban so that he can issue refunds to any other members who feel they have been scammed.
He was also given the opportunity of keeping his sales thread if he made the necessary adjustments.
Personally I think @jazzc couldn't have handled it any better, he got to the cause of the issue and was quite fair IMO

Also insulting a Mod is cause for a ban, they dedicate their time to help keep the forum clean, there is no need for them to take abuse from anybody.

Your complaints actually sound personal, did @jazzc upset you in anyway?

lord although i get your point - think on this. say they banned debbian right away
hes no longer bound as a bhw member and its rules to refund no1
my guess is jazz thought it better to hold of on a ban as it would work better
for users to get refunds. even if he does come back in a month his rep is shot
to pieces .... lastly this forum is run my mods and we members have 0 say in how mods
choose to deal with something.....its that simple

Of course he knew he was scamming people intentionally. He just believed he should be allowed to do it due to the fact others do it.
As for your example of native writers, if the service is not as described then you should report it, should the mod's be bothered to act upon it. If you really want to make comparisons to articles and the thread here, then if you bought an article and was delivered a single sentence, then yes you were scammed.
 
No worries, everyone. The flaws of the marketplace, mods, and banning process have been exposed enough for anyone to read in it's entirety in this thread. You may come to your own conclusions about how this was dealt with. However, when he is back in 30 days and you get scammed, don't you DARE open up a SL crying about your lost money. We'll all just tell you that maybe you were a little "confused" about how the marketplace service.

His thread was closed, unless amended with the facts of his service, which he chose not to have it amended but closed.

I'm not too sure what your big issue is here. Are you on your period?

When he comes back in 30 days he will be able to deal with any refund issues, he won't have a sales thread unless he makes the necessary changes and is honest with what his service offering is. Nobody will be scammed when he comes back. The Mods have closed his thread:

I'm a girl myself, and I can vouch, that girls don't turn bitchy during their period. PMS sucks though.

In all honesty, if all you get is bitchy you're doing great. Your life is literally leaving your body for days on end. Hope no one thinks that feels good or it's a pleasant process.

Anyway, back on topic: why do people get on this forum to specifically take every chance they can to call out the mods? If you don't like the forum or the way it's run, gtfo.
