You had an active subscription as i can see which it was not canceled ( You can go to your PayPal account and check under subscriptions ).

Since your service is terminated the last payment has been refunded to you.

Well with every VPS you get 1 gbps port which is great for downloading/uploading.

But i would suggest you to get at least a 2 or 4 core VPS instead of KVM 1 so it can handle the windows installation, because only windows itself will use up 1 GB of RAM which would make your VPS very slow.
