Used to see these threads weekly from macdonjo and I enjoyed them for motivation, so wanna see a new one if you guys will share

I've mostly been writing content for for a niche site I'm working on. As i make this thread (taking a break atm) I'm writing a 2k words product review. Also been making a lot of content for web 2.0s I'm gonna use to diversify my anchors. My fingers hurt, and my back, content writing is bitch haha, but I need better content than my competitors..

So what have you been working on?

Formulating a plan to scale up a niche site that I ranked/made a while ago, that has been neglected for way too long (due to laziness Zzz)

Nice idea OP, this was the size 15 studded boot I needed a kicking up the ass from. Thanks :D

  • Completed multiple large content orders
  • Negotiated a huge branding deal with a massive health startup
  • Secured a guarantee of funding from a very difficult client I had been tracking down, as well as potential upfront payment continuance
  • Kicked ass in my 9-5 job, getting a few developed reports sent straight to the EVP
  • Hit some home runs with my current rep management clients
  • Made a huge task list for August for my web property consultant
  • Expanded my Twitter growth project from 5 accounts to 10, handled all setup
  • Continued expansion of Iceland project social accounts/profiles
  • Began analytics research for direct mail project (journey/live case study coming soon)
  • Continued overhaul of current 40-site PBN to higher level of quality
  • Opened a new business bank account with Wells Fargo vs my small credit union 500 miles away
  • Prepared my full detail financial tracker for August and organized my computer
  • Updated 2017 YTD business income and expense tracking
  • Handled many home chores, including lawn mowing, general cleanup, weed pulling, repainting a wall, vacuuming, etc
  • Grabbed all the groceries without breaking anything
  • Baked some pretty awesome stuff (stuffed jalapenos, grenadine, cake mix cookies, bacon burgers, lemon garlic salmon, pico de gallo, etc)
  • Hit phase two of car detailing, hitting compound, polish, and wax for my car, plus deep vacuum, interior cleaning, and 303 aerospace coating
  • Developed a health plan to stop eating like garbage and maybe lose a few pounds
  • Created tracking database for electric and water usage at home, adjusted sprinkler system and AC based on results
  • Downloaded Scrapebox for Mac and started messing around
  • Slept during time gaps...
EDIT: Almost forgot:
  • Shitposted too much

You also got promoted to Jr. Exec, Sherbs! Which means more Paypal Money Generator credits than regular VIPs.

Oh yeah that's right!

Congrats on hitting 8k likes by the way.

Jesus Christ. How much do you sleep?? Awesome man!

Do you use any kind of task management tools/software? If so, can you share what it is?

I've been trying to favor my own custom options via Google Docs/Sheets lately. I run all my financial tracking through a customized Google Sheet. My to-do list routes from another sheet I designed like a calendar. Days of the week are frozen for reference.

Here's an example of a calendar box for one day:

UpDssdG

I use alt+shift+5 to strikethrough a cell once complete. And above the days of the week is a color legend to keep me on track.

I like the freeze panes option, as it allows me to scroll down once a week completes so I can focus on the current week, but have the previous week available for reference. Or I can scroll to a point where I can see prior week, current week, and next week on one screen. Has worked out extremely well for me. But I'm only on my third week of this system.

Jesus Christ. How much do you sleep?? Awesome man!

I try to get between 6 and 7 hours a night. Sometimes it's around 5.5, sometimes it's almost 8. My day job has me traveling 20 minutes in some pretty dangerous traffic each way, so I try to stay somewhat rested and caffeinated.

EDIT: It helps that I wake up at 4am. My morning secret has been staying moving from 4am to 5:30am, then ordering a Grande Starbucks Doubleshot on Ice and a Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich via Starbucks' mobile app so it's ready when I get there.

Starting tomorrow, though, the breakfast is going to be replaced with two eggs and some bacon, and a carafe of French Press. It'll probably save me $250 a month, plus maybe it'll help with the weight loss.

This week I've...
  • Reached out to more than a hundred schools for scholarship links.
  • Redid the scholarship page
  • Closed 1 new client
  • Lost 1 client
  • Wondering why some terms are stuck on page 2.

Quiet week.

How did you do it? I couldn't upload the content I bought to my tier 1 properties!

I owe a lot of the project-based grunt work to my two assistants, as well as hundreds and hundreds of articles of expired content from @bossofthebosses and @littlewebdragon. Get 250 articles and you can have a ten site PBN churning out scheduled weekly posts for six months.

I usually have tried not to outsource much in the past, but damn when you have stellar help, it's nice to be able to pay the service providers and have things run in the background.
