Hi guys

I have been in Beijing for 1.5 weeks now,
sometimes I am desperate to go home.

There are so many factors that trigger me:
food, accommodation, people, the air, the f*cking smog, the smells, the noises, ...

But overall it's a great experience.
Compared to Europe, and Belgium in particular... China is so much more advanced when it comes to smartphones. Almost nobody pays with debit/credit card nor cash, everyone is using eWallets (such as alipay, WeChat) and QR codes. Such a thing is just unthinkable in Belgium, even in 5 years from now.

There are thousands of bikes you can just "pay for" by scanning the QR code and then drop them off anywhere you want. This costs 1RMB (= $0.13) for an entire ride.

But from a business perspective, Chinese people really love using American and European concepts.
They are so obsessed with western culture, and you see it everywhere.

China was the worst country I visited. I was there for one week to visit some like farms, they are really good at building this farms. After I came back home, it took one month to forget the smells and the taste of polution in my mouth.

China welcome you, if you need air is good, you can choose to go to Shenzhen, take care, Lijiang, where the air is very good.

The smog is full of toxic chemical, the food is cheaper but you don't know how they cook it and what's inside it. It is fine because you just stay there for a few days, living in a communist country is the worst thing on earth now. So I believe they block all Google,Facebook,IG.... but they didn't block BHW???

China is at a border face off with India as we speak and have stepped up propoganda for the same from what I can gather. War mongering and shit.

i personally think we all should just sit over tea and sort it out lol

As a chinese, I highly recommand you to visit southwest and northwest China. Based on my experience, the define of "travel" between west countries and China is huge different. When I lived in Rostock, I saw many people from all over EU travel in Rostock and stay on the beach with two beers for entire day. But in China, due to the past days of poverty, many people like city life very much, even in traveling. That's one of the reasons why Beijing , Shanghai, Guangzhou... are very famous in China.

If you want to travel in china, there are many good places to visit. Yunnan, Xizang and Gansu are good choice, rent a car, get a phone with a ewallet, there is no place in China you can not go（places with dangerous,of course, are not on you list）. And don't be worry, a car and a phone(4g) are pretty much enough.
Under the government's efforts, even in remote areas, the road and signal are good enough.

I live in China, in Shenzhen and it is good enough for leaving. It depends on where you stay. I wouldn't like to live in Bejing either, but in SHenzhen near mountains, sea and beautiful parks you can be more than satisfied

Wait what? From Pakistan to China now? I think all countries (Russia, U.S, India, Israel, Palestine, Pakistan, Iran, North Korea, .etc) should sit down, chill the fuck up, get high, have pizzas and beer, and work it out. I agree.
