That seems a bit complex to hook up. Do you have to download the episodes onto the VPS and then set up the rtmp address? What would you suggest someone that uses mostly a laptop and has a low budget?

Watch the adsense accounts get banned real quick. These guys don't make any money I think.

But...but when I used my super VidIQ gadget tool, it showed that the uploaders were indeed monetizing those live streams.

i dont think this people monetize. simple i guess when the live finish the video havw a copyright and don't make anything. maybe this guy do that for have popularity, for gain subs and when this people reach a good ammount of subs can make a good videos and start making money on youtube ^^

I think so. However, in spanish some people are making raffles with CPA offers

It's a cool and strategic way of doing it, but now instead of worrying about copyright strikes, you'd have to worry about getting your videos flagged and your channel banned for spam.

So? They got a youtube approved adsense. Doesn't say much as everyone can get it.

Not true. If monetization for a video is not set to on, then the video will come up as "Not Monetized." If the video is being monetized by 3rd parties (ex: Viacom, UMG, WMG), then often will it show as "Monetized by YouTube" or "Monetized by [insert 3rd party here]." Also, there are decent amount of stories of people getting their AdSense applications rejected for various reasons.
