Selling affiliates products on Ebay

I heard people saying they sell affiliates' products (affiliates not dropshippers)on ebay, how is that doable, what will you get the commission for if the customer just buys from you? I am totally am an ebay newbie and do not intend to base my ebay business on just dropshipped products so any help on that?

no you usually simply get the people to order via ur aff link

I did not think about ebay fee's!!!!

So you will need to find something that has a big enough commission level, otherwise any commission will be wiped out be ebay fees!!

^^this is an old post, but I'm curious about how you would get them to purchase using your link if you can't place links in the ad. I'd like more info.

How about make a listing for the product you are promoting and list it at a higher expensive price lets say $20 more. Then on your listing write something like "check out my ABOUT ME page for details on how to save $20" Your allowed to post links on your about me page. The buyer will click on it and purchase from there if he was really interested in purchasing in the first place.

I have not tried this because I don't do affiliates but It's just an idea that might or wont work for you guys that do.

What do you guys think?

I use a different method, by using my preexisting customers as my "mailing list."
