Wondering if the Yoast Premium plugin is worth the cost? Seems a bit steep in cost compared to other plugins.

You can do alot without the premium account .. meta descriptions, site map etc. Would say the only down sound is that there's no tech support when you run into issues.. but otherwise I think you could survive without it.

Nulled plugins are always risky but I find the free version working out great TBH.

I would like to hear about it, too, I'd love to try out a Yoast alternative. I've got nothing against Yoast, but I haven't used much else so I have no way of knowing how good they really are.

It is worth it in the same percentage as the chance that picture is really you slim to none ... let's face it meta desc, etc etc etc are pretty useless or a very very very small % of SEO. About the only thing, I use Yoast for is site map and page/meta catchy phrases ... however, now google is ignoring that a lot for what it thinks is more relevant with its semantic word monster that will destroy a lot of the fake internet soon.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to confirm my suspicions. The price is just too much, especially when compared with dev subscriptions of other plugins which sometimes offer lifetime updates and unlimited sites.

Exactly. It's all about semantic relevancy, content authority, page engagement and so on...
Keyword targeting is dead as we know it. Yes, each page/post should be centered around a specific overall topic, relevant to a user request (i.e. intent based posts) that either provide information or answer a specific question. However, targeting that page to 1-3 keywords is a lost cause. What you want to delve into are semantically relevant concepts and topics relative to the main concept of the page. Let me elaborate....
LSI keywords as "most" of us know them are absolute garbage (this includes the ones from the famous LSI graph site). Let's take a look at an example:
LSI Graph Using the keyword "camping":
- camping ideas
- rv camping
- camping checklist
- camping equipment
- free tent camping
- printable camping checklist
- outdoor camping supplies
The above is a shortlist, but gets the point accross. Its mainly varriations of the primary keyword "camping", which will not only increase your KW density to the point of spam, but also doesn't really do any good "semantically" speaking. Semantic keywords SHOULD be keywords that are topically or conceptually relevant to the primary keyword (not a variation of it).
So while LSI graph gives some good starting ideas...I would never use their keywords. So what would I do differnetly you ask?
Simple, for the same keyword "Camping" I would use:
- Grilling
- Gas, charcoal
- Tents
- RVs
- Fishing
- hunting
- campfire
- portable shower
- flashlight
- etc
See the difference there? The keywords are topically and conceptually related to the main topic of "camping" without using the keyword "camping" a bazillion times. Google wants to see that you have fleshed out an idea in full and will give articles that do so preference over those that do not as they provide greater value to the end user.

Depends on your need. IMO, the free version is already enough and it works fine.
