Guy Claims to Permanently REMOVE Negative Links - Possible??

There is a guy advertising that he can actually permanently remove negative links. Is this possible? He gives no information but in my communications with him, he seems to want proof that the negative listings are false. Says he needs proof of flaseness for Google's TOS.

usually search engines allow you to submit requests to remove content. You're probably just paying for him to submit these requests, but there is no guarantee that google will remove it.
 
There are many different ways to get content permanently removed. You can work with the publisher, webhost, domain registrar, Google or even through legal means.

We've had success in getting things removed and what he is asking is valid. If there is no reason that it should be removed, it is often difficult to get it removed. We work with a company who is creative at finding ways to get something removed.

How much it costs to remove a link permanently?
 
Generally it ranges from $1500-30,000. Anything beyond that would be the cost of litigation, discovery and other types of research in preparation for the case. I am not an attorney but work with a couple to get negative content removed on a regular basis.

30k for a link removal? Curious, in which scenario did you see that happen?

That's the top end that I've ever seen a client pay. This specific client had a bad divorce or his step-son went on a rampage against him. That included getting a restraining order and an injunction against him posting anything else negative against my client while removing what he had already done. I'm not sure if "injunction" is the right word, but you get what I mean.

Most of the time removals are in the $1500-5000 range with some of them going up to $10k.

Wow that sucks. Seen some nasty family disputes as well. Thanks for sharing the experience.
 
I used to get paid $2,500/mo per company to monitor and have such things removed. Anytime I couldn't get something removed I'd push it way down.
 
Interesting stuff. I can see there being a lot of money in it because I am guessing there are a lot of people with negative things being said about them and listed in Google and that could be really detremental to someones business/life.

But the key for you OP is knowing whether the guy you have been speaking with is legit - can he really do what he says? I guess you need to get something in writing regarding what he is going to do, agree the cost, guarantees etc as well as how and when you will pay for the work. Also consider how well you know this person.
 
ah, exactly the topic I am currently into. I like it when Bhopkins says "We work with a company who is creative at finding ways to get something removed" , thats a nice way to put it

He is right, most of these ORM services costs as much as the range he mentions, though some can be cheaper depending on the situation. I am however interested to be introduced to anyone who knows these "creative" ways to remove a negative post as I do have a client who needs it. PM me if you are the one . Lets have a chat
 
Honestly for the cost to remove it, it ain't worth it. Just pay a ORM company to generate positive content. Then you can suppress the negative reviews and incentives customers to leave reviews.
 
 
No I dont think bad links can be removed permanently. Ya but if you have a legitimate proof that the link is false then you can file a case and get it removed.

I paid someone money on this forum and he even not bothering me to reply. After sending he is quiet now not even replying on Skype.

I would honestly just suppress the negative review depending on how bad it is. Just flood it with more good reviews :)
 
When a link is removed ,i think there still a mirror image ,that can be seen ,if need be , i dont think the info just goes,it there for life.

I no you can get rid of comments and bad gossip ect ect , from these experts but i am very sure ,what ever way they dissolve any info ,any one can .

The truth is most , dissolve companys offer the person who wrote it a fee, to delete whatever.

Any other way is form filling and praying to the internet gods.

Legally somethink can be removed but unfortunately still can get mirror imaged somewhere on the .net.

This is not true at all. I would suggest letting those who have experience in this area make the judgement. I can do that sometimes, but I don't have as much experience as the companies that I work with.

Also not true at all. Content can absolutely and permanently be removed without any "mirror image". It is literally deleted off the offending page, deindexed from Google or otherwise not able to be seen/found.
