{HELP} im buying a twitter account

A friend of a friend has a twitter account hes built up from just tweeting he says to 20,000+ follows as he doesn't use it no more hes willing to sell it to me for £40 im literally going to pay him in the next hour or so.

i wants to know how to check if the followers are real plus any ways to market to these followers, please be quick as i am buying it to day

I call BS on the seller's story. He built the account up just from tweeting yet he has 25% of fake followers, how come?

Check the engagement of the tweets and ask the seller for Twitter analytics stats. Those audit services doesn't reveal everything, but you can get a picture. These audits don't reveal the amount of active followers, because a follower can be real, but if he/she's not active anymore, he/she worth exactly as much as a fake follower. Since how long is the account dormant? If the engagement is low, don't expect too much traffic. The account will only be good to look like a somewhat authority figure from the get go, so you don't have to build it up from scratch. If this worth 40 GBP to you, then i guess you shall proceed.

ive got the account now hes deleted quite a few things but i havent paid yet i told him i want to check it first, can i still get the twitter analytics?

Well, if you already control the account, you can get an overall monthly data even if he deleted the tweets: https://analytics.twitter.com/. If you scroll down, you can see the data of the previous months.

Interesting, because with the size of an account like this, analytics should be enabled and even if the tweets are deleted, the overall monthly data should be there.

i would guess that 99% of the sold accounts are some kind of fishy .... but the price is low so you can give it try.

ask him to tweet some of your shortnened urls so you can track the clicks make sure to route it through something like http://bosstds.com with some filters to see if he isnt sending fake traffic through the links
