Can someone explain fas.st links?

Trying to understand exactly what my competition is doing, they're using shortened urls that say fas.st. Couldn't find any information on it on google, any help is appreciated!

Its a URL shortener like bitly.com

looks like any other url shortener like bit.ly or goo.gl. if you dont know the reasons to use such things, don't worry about it.

I know the reasons, it's just that the affiliate program is down for the website they were sharing the links to, so I was trying to figure out if they were using another website that gave commission (viglink etc) to monetize it
