I did few campaigns that made me few money(60$ profit) but they were expensive not really scalable up
I would like to know if you can make money with some really cheap commercial keywords 10-20 cents

There are many variables. It could be the profit available against the competition bidding which might rule out PPC for some products. Or it could be down to an account that isn't optimised - broad match keywords, big pile of everything keywords in the same ad-group, bidding big on the main keywords, low quality score, and on... You'll find plenty of campaigns you can run with avg $0.20-$0.30 keywords, i'd just build out very slowly testing different ad variations along the way.

If you're wanting to spend 20 cents a click you're going to want to look into either display network on Adwords or search for some loose keywords on Bing. I wouldn't get obsessed with "cheap clicks" as much as with high converting clicks that you can push into a positive ROI. You can lose money just as easy with a shitty converting 20 cent keyword as a $2.00 keyword... and from my experience the cheap keywords are USUALLY cheap for a reason, most of them convert worse. Find a nice middle ground in a niche where your "product" has a high profit margin so you can afford to bid.

It purely depend the model you choose to promote, If you go with forum and blog posting, social promotion results are instant , with in 2 or 3 days
But if you know SEO and go with it it will take longer than usual.
