Website monetization

I have a DA53 website with around 10,000 page views per month.
I'm currently monetizing it with Amazon Ads but only earning an average of $20 per month.
I want to ask your opinion - Should I try monetizing it by selling guest posts?
I saw many website owners on freelance platforms that sell guest posts on their websites (with similar metrics) for $50+. So should I start doing so?
My website has backlinks from Forbes, NY Times, Huff Post and many mores - so I assume that a back link coming from my site would be a valuable asset for any website.
So, should I start selling guest posts on it? And if not, what other monetization alternatives would you recommend?

Guest posts could be one option for sure. But don't go for crazy number of slots there.

Yes guest posts are fine but also try using better content for amazon for increased conversions.

I did not try AdWords. I sell books, so I found Amazon more appropriate for this.

Adsense should earn you something like $100 per month or even more if you setup it right. Right setup = 336*280 or 300*250 just under the title of the page and put one line of text between text and ad unit. Text should be wrapped around the ad unit. And ad unit should be on left side, or you can put 2 units next to each other.

Ad unit must look as a part of thr site not as an ad.

The same setup works when adding adsense just the pictures (make sure there is one line of text in order to not break the rules).

Placement is really important, if you make it right you will earn 2-3 times more than if you do not do this correctly.

If you sell books, what I would do in your place would be to hire a few decent ghostwriters, let them write books for you, put them on Kindle and drive traffic through your website.
