This thread went to shit.

I am not a fan of most British things. The food is bland and boring as fuck, as is the landscape from what I've seen. The television and movie humor tops out at Top Gear. The British accents make me want to stab myself in the face, no matter how attractive most of the world finds it.

Luckily there is one saving grace to British shit. All of you Brit fucks here on BHW make the lifestyle slightly more bearable. So thanks for that.

But no, your food sucks ass.

Sincerely,
A country with very few original foods.

And this is somebody from America, the country that gave us big macs and heart disease!!:D:D

Just kidding sherbs, everyone is entitled to their opinion of course but You have obviously only tried a small percentage of Britain food.

There is better out there.

Give me five of the best British foods that are not boring as hell, and I will make it my personal goal to try them all before the end of the year.

If they suck, though, I'm going to fly up there and punch you in the boring ass head.

EDIT: Also, the McDonald brothers were raised by Irish immigrants before starting their BBQ joint "McDonalds" in the 1940's. So I think that was closer to your doing.

Oh, now everyone is entitled to their opinion?

I gave mine and I got lectured on being miserable and winding up lonely.

Sherbs tells you your entire country sucks and you say "Oh, everyone's entitled to their opinion lololol."

I was clearly born the wrong gender.

And maurice mcdonald died of heart failure.

Kinda fitting really

Well yeah, because I'm already miserable and lonely. :D

It wasn't your opinion i had any problems with, it was your aggressive stance.

You know I don't have a problem with people having opinions.

What's with the name change anyway? I kinda liked alwaysinvisible.

Alrighty this thread derailed a bit, so let's see if we can get back on track.

@sturose having been lucky enough to have lived abroad for most of my life (total of 7 different countries for now and only in my early twenties) i've only ever found for what could just barely pass for an english style pub (most memorable was a run down "pub" in between slums in Kigali, rwanda), but never a fish and chips shop or a pub that did sunday roasts. Save for getting an english breakfast at hotels finding british cuisine abroad is usually is a difficult task (unless you're in a holiday town that receives a lot of british tourists)

For now though im living in the UK working in a Pub kitchen serving damn fine food that definitely includes well seasoned british classics like fish n chips, roasts etc.
and contrary to popular belief (save for the pensioners) the brits dont like bland foods.

Yeah, you and your hot wife and your new house and monthly six-figure business.

Such unhappy. Much miserable. Wow.

You forgot my son:

nFq8aso

He grows facial hair remarkably fast for a two year old. He also doesn't look much like either one of us.

Give @Sherbert Hoover his 5 dishes to try then, see if he will rise to the challenge!!:D

What area you working in? Anywhere near the Midlands or Staffordshire and I'll pop in and try some of your damn fine food

Does he look at all like the milkman?

Also, you want some recommendations for British food that is good? For my 2 cents, start here: http://www.pieminister.co.uk/

Now I'm not going to actually travel to the UK to try British food.

I already hate the accent. I could only imagine if I was surrounded by it. I'd have to gouge my ears with icepicks like my grandfather did to my uncle so he didn't get drafted into 'Nam.

My stance wasn't aggressive. You took it that way. I wasn't being any more sarcastic than I usually am.

You've seen me tear into people before. You'd know if I were being aggressive.

My humor is sharp and sarcastic. And like I said before, I will talk about anyone on this planet. My snark is not limited to people or food from a specific country and no one is exempt from it. Not even my friends and family. I treat you all equally.

But it doesn't matter now, does it?

@Sherbert Hoover I love the accent, your son has a skillet face and don't do it it's a trap.

  1. It's a straight-up peanut-butter-mouth speech impediment and we all know it deep down.
  2. He is well aware of his pan-like face. We are working on finding him some help.

What?

How does it sound like they have peanut butter in their mouth?

The way they pronounce words is much too precise for peanut butter. I mean...part of what makes Tom Hiddleston hot is his accent. It's so proper.

Even Ste has a sexy accent and it's ghetto af.

Lmao this is like when you told me you hate anime.

You're a riot Sherbs. :D

Don't agree with you about the food or movies/TV comments, but I have to say you're pretty much spot on regarding accents.

I'm from the UK myself and I really can't stand 90% of the accents. Luckily I was born in one of very few areas that has no strong accent (or any accent at all really) and people I meet whilst living abroad can't even tell where I'm from.

But yeah, hearing British people speak really drives me nuts most the time

Don't even get me started on that pedophilic cartoony bug-eyed mouth-doesn't-match-what-they're-saying Japanese shit-o-turd!

You know they eat squid over there.

You ever tried it?

I could never eat squid. It's my favorite animal. I'd feel like I was eating a puppy.
