I've been lurking on this forum for a while and thought I'd share a method with you that may not have been shared on this forum (honestly I haven't been across it yet, so please give credit to the person who may have shared it before me on the forum).
That being said, a good 9-5 is a requirement and this method will study the route to capturing that high paying job.
How do you think the recruiters narrow down their search? They use a simple algorithm that scans CVs for keywords. I.e. Harvard, Stanford, etc...Now you may not know exactly what they are looking for, but you can certain get to the top of their pile using this simple method.
Step 2: Type all the keywords imaginable that you believe a recruiter would be looking for in the background or bottom of your CV
Step 3: PDF your CV and it will still be searchable when placed through their algo.
OVERVIEW
Now obviously this method will not apply to those of you who have already quit the rat race (congrats to you - I'm genuinely trying to quit, but I have yet to find a method that I can actually execute for a stable income for my family and I). I will never give up, but until then, a 9-5 is the only way I can support my family.

HOW SOME OF YOU WERE SELECTED
Please note that by all means this may not apply to all jobs, but it did for mine and that's why I'm sharing it with you. When I searching for a job, I did it through LinkedIn and if you've used LinkedIn before, you'll notice that it shows you how many people also applied for the position.

THE METHOD (Option 1)
Step 1: Change the font color on your CV to "White" and you are now typing invisible text
Step 2: Type all the keywords imaginable that you believe a recruiter would be looking for in the background or bottom of your CV
Step 3: PDF your CV and it will still be searchable when placed through their algo.
THE METHOD (Option 2)
This option is if you'd like to move from Blackhat to Grayhat. You simple need to find clever ways to mention the keywords in your CV (e.g. in the hobbies section [if you have one], mention that you're an avid reader of the "Harvard Business Review" - that way you are mentioning Harvard without being blackhat about it).
POTENTIAL RISK
Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, nor do I attempt to act as one. I have no idea what the large scale risks are here, but if they do happen to highlight portions of your CV and discover a bunch of keywords hiding in the background, you better come up with some excuse to get out of it without getting sued.

Its a dead simple idea and I think much much more can be done with it.
