Good computer voiceover for videos ?

Heh, it's not really hard to tell this is a computer voice. Seems like just a built in Microsoft voice that's sped up a little.

In xp go Start -> all programs -> accessories -> accessibility -> narrator.
 
Youre kidding me.. narrator is like worse than c3p0 anno domini voice, i need a decent voice like in the video shown to save to hd and then include in the video.. comon narrator sam sounds really crappy..

Sorry I got you wrong I thought you wanted something that sounds like a robot
like the video does. In that case why don't you pay someone to do voice overs
for you or use something like voicechanger diamond or many of the other
voice changers and record it yourself.
 
thanks! I need a totally natural voice of course. Whats the best free software or best online site, where i can post a text and then download it as file to put in video editing software ??? I dont really want to pay money for this simple task..
 
You might want to check out TextAloud... they also offer better voices known as AT&T Natural Voices. There are sample mp3's, so you can get a better idea of the difference between the standard microsoft voices and AT&T's . Damn! I just took a look there and it's nearly 6gig just for the english pack.

another trick if you DL the AT&T voices are to record it and then run it thru something like audacity to make the voice pitch a little different. It can do it without speeding up the voice to sound like a chipmunk or lower the pitch.

Just want to make a point. When someone takes the time to offer you TWO links...you might want to at least acknowledge their effort. You thanked someone else who gave you basically the same link I did. Next-up MAKES Text-Aloud. You said you were looking for voices, not the software.

It's no skin off my nose for getting no thanks, but I remember when I first joined BHW how some here would rag on noobs who came in and took and never thanked. I still defend them but will not answer any more questions I see from you.

Being a noob doesnt excuse ignorance. FWIW
 
You can use Audio Record Edit Toolbox for that. It can even change the speed a bit or pich change so youtube can*t detect if it is copyrighted music.

Get a nice microphone and record yourself... or am I just crazy? (You CAN always run some audio-filters over it if you don't like your own voice, because really, who does?)

I did that on about 100 articles for one of my websites... it took me much longer than I thought it would....and I have about 10 years experience in radio as a DJ. The AT&T voices are a more time efficient choice...

now this dudes gonna "take it easy" and go back to work
