Hi, my account is locked due to "suspicious" acrivity and now they want to send me a code to my number, problem is, i have lost the sim card and unable to renew it, i read about the VPN trick which bringa up a date of birth way of verifying but it seems it longer works, can anyone suggest any other way?

Try to use "old" method about to use vpn with japan's ip

Contact with them and say that you have lost your number that is registered on that fb account. They may ask u to send National ID or any other documents.

Problem is, the current profile oic is fake, I'm scared they would permanently disable it

Even if the picture is fake but if it's under your real name fb will still allow you to recover your account as long as you will provide your national id

Wait a few days.. Login again and it will only ask you to change password, 90% of the times it works that way for me..

Try login in again in a few days, the DOB option might appear, alternatively use a virtual number.

I don't think there is a way round that because Facebook keeps updating their security measures to weed out fake profiles

How can I contact a Facebook rep?

Upload the same pic or a similar one. Worked for me for some time.

You simply can. Facebook now is totally taken by bots.

Though I see a lot of screenshots of people talking to a rep?

You still get the block again even if you pass it once, yes?

Have you tried changing your MAC address? Or turning off your WebRTC?

Yes, I tried the first one. Now I'm going to try the WebRTC thing.

Buy PVA accounts, or create yours by yourself. Then do not use bots or automated software.

did you get this resolved?

I have the same problem, my cell number is out of date and its trying to get me to confirm with text.

will the japan thing work if you already have a cell number attached to the fb page?
