i found a upwork freelancer and he sent me a sample of a product review I tested him on, it was perfect and he knows what his doing, before I continue I just wanted to know if this is worth it, he'll write me 10 product reviews (top 10) and a buyers guide for $12/1000

If there's cheaper good writers let me know. :)

If you're happy with the results that's what counts.

I use multiple writers across wide price ranges.

Trying a few helps you compare and evaluate.

I've paid $5 for 1000 words from one source and $30 for 1000 words from another and was happy with both.

It's good to try different price points and see the difference in value as price changes. A good writer won't be afraid to charge a price that another writer would never dare charge because of their different skill levels.

Ask 6 writers for the exact same thing and pay the asking price and you might find 3 worth working with again. Small price to pay to find a good long term writer.

Where do you find your best and cheapest writers ?

"You get what you pay for." $12 for 1k words is a pretty standard fee. If you lower the price tag, the quality might also take a nose-dive. That being said, there's nothing stopping you from trying new writers. Make no mistake, you could burn some money in the process.

Considering that the given sample is "perfect" like you described, then yes, it is cheap, in fact, I'd say it's too good to be true.

The answer you'll get on whether $12.00 for 1,000 words is cheap or expensive will depend on the experience and expertise of the person you're asking.
It's ridiculously cheap for me.

There are two types of writers.
- writers who need more guidance
- writers who give you more suggestions/recommendations than questions

The second type of writers won't waste their time writing for $12.00 per 1,000 words.

Will second that assuming this was written very well, it sounds extremely cheap. I've seen quite a few different writers quality and it was never up to standards for me and I was paying a price almost identical to yours so I decided to write my own content. Sounds like a good deal to me assuming it's well written.

What's your perceived value of the article?

If this is a stand alone writer who can maintain the quality and price, use them.
If he/she is part of a factory churning out content, ensure you keep that one writer.

There are writers on here who are cheaper and very good, others are quite poor but charge more.

Hi,

It's not about word count and price.
It's about quality and structure of content that will rank and convert into sales.

If possible, please upload his sample work.
I can give a review or suggestion.

Thanks

Sounds good to me - If I could get perfect content for my needs at $12/1000 words I would be happy for sure.

Hi,
This price is quite reasonable for good content, so if you are happy with the sample he sent you and think he can continue delivering quality content, you should hire him.
