Can anyone point me in the right direction ? I stared an online head shop ( 420smokeDepot.com) I'm being told by a high risk company for a payment gateway I have to change my name but in my eyes that's where the money is going to be ? I see company's with similar names that take visa MasterCard ect ?

Its not the problem with Visa or Mastercard, the payment gateway has a problem. Looking for some other payment gateway is the only solution if you dont want to change business name.
Can I have a complimentary pot for the suggestion?

you don't have to have drug reference in your legal company name. It might even be beneficial that people when they get their credit card bill don't see something that is controversial in them. Why do you think companies that run porn sites have names that don't give away what they do like "Reliant Entertainment LLC", instead of "Monster Cock Anal.Com LLC"?

That's what I said they said it's visa that won't approve of the 420 I mention nothing illegal but just the name they are saying . I'll wait to hear back from others thanks

Dude change the name. In one of my offline companies I wanted to start a company with the name "consulting"
big mistake dont do it.

There are a few names that you should avoid when registering an LLC, "consulting" for instance is something the govt is putting an eye on because apparently there were too many scams from companys who had "consulting" in their names, true story thats what my bank manager said.

So why get yourself in trouble? just pick a new name.
