Just to let everyone know, I had a one hour coaching session with redtide yesterday because my offers were quite low and he gave me a lot of worthwhile advice that I'm going to put to practice straight away.

Sorry for the dp but I had to address something with you guys about GAF and my AC Insiders Guide. The form letters that I supply in my book are meant as samples only. They are NOT meant to be copied word for word (should go without saying) or only be slightly rewritten and posted on GAF, Elance, Mturk or anywhere else for that matter.

I just spent some time on GAF and saw ad after ad with either my EXACT same ad copy or slightly rewritten versions of it. I hate to say it, but if you guys can't be bothered to rewrite your own ad copies, then you're almost certainly bound to fail with AC. Besides the fact that by doing this you run the risk of getting banned by GAF for posting duplicate ads, common sense tells you that running the same ad as everyone else is going to cut down the effectiveness of the ad and give you less bidders to choose from.

Sorry to sound harsh, but it kind of blows my mind to see that so many of you are just copying and pasting my exact ad copy.

Interestingly one of my gaf posts that wasn't getting any replies for the few several days has started getting a ton of replies almost a week later. It has about 15+ replies now and only started getting any once it fell down to page 2-3...

When hiring what quality of english skills do you expect from your rewriters? 100%? So far all my replies have seen poor or "ok" though their kills would warrant some editing. Do you guys do any editing on your rewrites?

I think the skill level you accept depends on how much time you can put in. I personally don't have enough time to edit each article so don't bother hiring people unless they have excellent English. Sometimes it's quite clear from their message on GAFL even before sending a sample that their English is terrible.

If you have enough time, it would be okay to hire someone whose English isn't perfect - you'd need to put in the time either training them, or editing their articles yourself.

That's strange tbootz, but in a good way! I've never heard of that happening before, but that's pretty cool either way. I hope it brings you a few good writers. Did you get any other new GAF accounts set up?

Dodge is right in that it just depends on how much time you want to put into it. Keep in mind that it's kind of unrealistic to think you'll never have to go back and check over your rewriters work in order to confirm it's ready for submission. Remember, just 5 or so grammar/spelling mistakes can greatly affect how much AC offers you for upfront payments, so it's always a good idea to proofread each article and not take for granted that it's always going to be perfect when sent back to you from your writers.

I personally want the most profit out of each article, so part of my routine is proofreading each article before submitting because even great writers will make mistakes at times.

hey just got the ebook yesterday, read through it late at night, felt it was a pretty good read. Set up a few accounts today and scraped content already for 2 weeks. Couldn't do much as i was planning a birthday surprise for my mum tomorrow!

gonna set up my "recruitment" in outsourcing sites now. hope to post some healthy results by next week! thanks for the great book red tide, this is truly all about taking action and that is pretty much it.

To sign up you have to say you're from the US. Up front payments should be available for everyone..

If you've clicked one of their offered articles, they may only be offering performance payments for those, but if you submit your own you should be able to choose up front.

I suggest you read through this thread as people have already discussed ways of registering whilst residing outside the USA.

I'd also highly recommend you purchase redtide's ebook as it will fully answer all your questions and help you a LOT more with AC.

Read through this whole thread and your questions are answered mate. In a nutshell, register as a US citizen whether you are or not, do a Google search for a US zip and give AC a US based zip code when registering. When you earn about $500 in total earnings with AC leave that account to collect page views and start another account before AC cuts you off and demands a W9 form to be submitted. Claim your earnings come tax time just as you normally would, you just can't use AC's W9.

Rinse and repeat

I'd really sugeest everyone keeping an eye on the Assignment Desk. There have been quite a few requests popping up over the last 72 hours.
I'll tell you what I've noticed: I generally do a refresh every minute or so, and I've noticed requests on the Assignment desk going up and down in the space of a minute. Yesterday there were at least five requests offering between $3 and $3.75 per article, and they were snapped in about 30 seconds (literally). Remember the requesters may only be after five articles, so if you're really serious about making money on AC, these are easy money. Guaranteed upfront payments of $3 minimum, I mean what else do you want

One other thing, whenever you're on there, just keep a track of how many requests are available on the Assignment Desk. the nuber is always shown before the requests are listed. So for example, if you were on the site at 10:20 and there were 56 available, and then you go bacl on at 10:26 and there are 58 available, then you know that there are two new requests.

Finally, don't just claim the requests without thinking. If you think you will be able to fulfil them, then claim them, otherwise if you keeping dropping requests that you claimed, you'll find yourself out of work.
