I use Poloniex as my primary and Kraken as my backup.

These are temporary drops as they are the aftermath of this bubble bursting. It will stablize and rise. Those who lost money currently can hold, which i recommend, and make their money back and more. Or you can accept your loss and try to day trade for profits. Personally, I would sit tight since idk anything about day trading(I am curious to learn) so I would just wait it out. Call it a day when my profits come back. Or, if you're a skilled day trader, sell out and play the day trading game and make your profits that way.

Slightly off-topic but I got an email from Udemy today about a new course where you can learn to fund your retirement through cryptocurrencies for US$10.

I was actually tempted to get it seeing as I know absolutely nothing about crypto, to have a one-stop-shop of all the basic information for US$10 seemed good value.

What put me off was him using lots of exclamation marks in the names of his vids. This is "fund your retirement" not "make your own mascara".

Yeah that's true, btc is good if You don't want to be tracked, but comparing it to dollars is bad idea, if some big fish will sell his big amount of btc it will drown, You can't do that with $ or euro.

Yes you can on poloniex sell for usdt and buy back when its lower. Or you can go short on leveraged margin but that's not for the faint hearted.

Yes, having a physical piece of paper that is backed by an 18 trillion dollar annual economy has more real value than a cyrpto currency that you see in an account online.

Jesus dude, when are you going to understand. We're talking about "REAL VALUE" not market value. REAL Intrinsic value means not what a government or society says it is worth, but what objective value it actually can bring to a person. The guy was saying that bitcoin has no true value and he's right, but the US dollar has no intrinsic value either. If you weren't allowed to spend it, tell me what you can do with it.

An year ago btc was about $555, now it is $2463, it is obvious it won't rise forever, but after slight drop it will rise again. If You played forex a bit , You will know when to sell things.
