So obviously as everyone knows the Making Money section is filled with a lot of crap now.

To fix that up how about a new sub forum?
Making Money- Guides or Making Money- Discussions.

It would make more sense to make a "Making Money-Guides" subforum. As it will be way more easier to just move the guides to the new sub forum. To make the job of the admins easier ,a new post can be created where us users can just post links to the tons of guides already available here .So that the admins can move it easily.

I know its a time consuming process but it will be worth it . Why? Well check the 'Making Money' section.

(optional) After the guides/tutorials w/e have been moved to the new forum ,the existing "Making Money" forum can be renamed to "Making Money discussions" and can be saved as a sub forum or something.

I don't like the idea of adding more subforums to the forum.

If this is mostly about making it easier to find and reference guides, I have an alternative suggestion: prefixes.

I brought these up in another thread here in the feedback section, and we can do the same thing with guides by adding a "Guide" prefix to any current and future guides.

While I like the idea, one problem I can see this causing is that it would change the permalink of every BST thread. For example, if I we decided to do this and changed @littlewebdragon's BST title, the URL would go from
  • /seo/servikus-pure-ssd-hosting-unlimited-domains-and-bandwidth-only-0-8.677202
to
  • /seo/bst-servikus-pure-ssd-hosting-unlimited-domains-and-bandwidth-only-0-8.677202.
Some members might not appreciate the permalinks or their thread titles being changed. I also don't think there are any automatic redirects in place if we change the thread titles, which would cause problems for sellers who link to the threads on other sites.

However, I think this would be an excellent opportunity to use the prefix feature. Right now, I'm the only one with a thread with a prefix on Black Hat World, but this is what it looks like:

Since the prefix feature doesn't change the threads title nor does it alter permalinks, we could add "BST" in the prefixes and avoid the problem I mentioned above.

As for the situation in the making money subforum, all I can say is to report any problematic or misplaced threads. I tend to close threads where a member asks a question that's been answered a hundred times here, so feel free to report those threads as well.
