Exchanging link with a higher TF site?

I know link exchange pages are in general no good. What if I get a site that far exceeds my TF DA PA to link to me and I link to them? They have highly relevant topical TF as well. Should pass some juice right?

If you can actually get a site of relevant content to yours that has higher link metrics to link to your pages then good for you but I doubt someone will do that. They gain little value from the link exchange, especially if your site is new, while you get all the juice.

I already have gotten a couple actually, TF of 18 and 23 in my exact topical niche and I have no relevant topical TF yet, only 5 irrelavant TF. I do have a great site that is growing with a lot of other good metrics and it did take a lot of work to find some people who would link to me though.

I have also gotten my university to write an article about my business and agree to include a link. Additionally I have gotten a large ecommerce site to write an article about my site and the similar articles they have written score in the 20s for TF but not really relevant TF. I am hoping the combination of these 4 links will help when they get indexed over the next few weeks!
