Hi everyone.
I have just opened a new Shopify store, and this morning I woke up with an idea after a lot of headaches because I dont have any SEO experience. but I got some knowledge (thanks to this amazing forum)

So what I planned to do, is to hire 5 VA to write every day an article of 400words about a product from my store with the targeted keywords + link to the product. I will run 5tumblr accounts on automation follow/unfollow/reblog
for each Tumblr I will set 1VA. he will update the blog every day.

so my question is, am I in the right direction?
please feel free to share your opinion.

Try to provide valuable products with interesting content.

Why only Tumblr? Instagram + Facebook + quora.

Try everything. GOOD LUCK (y)

wordpress plugin (social network auto poster) can post to tumblr directly from your blog when you publish a post. you can put spintax there, or whole articles, and images and link to your original post. dont need 5 va jajajaj.

link juice from 5 tumblr is nothing. and if I understand you right, you want to include links to your domain from 5 tumblrs everytime you publish a post on blog.

thats stupid.

you will get sitewide useless links.

Unless you post only really hot stuff that will get reblogged. So this way u get one link, but that link has great internal power.

(i might still not be right about the last part)

From my experince, when you start project, you need to focus on 1 thing, and than move on the other one (IG,FB,ETC) it is a good idea to scale . I choose to start with Tumblr because right now I dont have any backlinks .

Personly it would be to untargeted and limited[/QUuntarg

why you sad that?
My VA will write a review about every product.
NOT a spammy article.

I already own social machine. I use it to autopost from my wordpress blog.

I am running a shopify store.

Your marketing plan is not rich and wide-reaching enough. There are other web 2.0 account and page you could use instead of only tumblr. Make your plan more detail and start the promotions.

You are on right track mate; Try using Pinterest and reddit and also do some offline marketing.

Beside Tumbler, you can use Facebook, Reddit, Linkedin, Pinterest, Google+ and Twitter

I have found that spamming generic 400-500 word articles isn't going to cut it. Everyone else is doing this too. If it was so easy then everyone would be rich. I'm following a guy named Brian Dean who runs a website called Backlinko and he suggests writing exhaustive 10,000-50,000 word articles. Once you have compiled such information, its easy to get someone to link back to your article since you've spent so much time researching and writing it. I tried this for a client and created a 100 point article that took me 5 days and 100 cups of coffee to put together. This is the kind of stuff that is going to get people's attention and want to get reblogged. Not a bunch of spammy 400-500 generic articles. No one wants to read that stuff. I hope this helps. I can also be hired to write such articles. But I am not cheap.

agreed. they are more likely to link to 50k words as it seems good find for them.

thank god we are on black hat forum

You plan on paying 5 VAs to write articles about products selling on an ecommerce website.

Why not paying for Facebook or IG ads to promote your products directly to consumers?

If you have a blog on your shopify website, one post per week is already enough which includes your targeted keywords. It's fine as long as your website is always updated. Make sure you optimize your onpage. Also, don't forget about building backlinks.

personally i would recommend lookin4me site because today i'll check his back links and his service methodologies and it's really great and good.it's just like an agency.
