Of course its profitable, you can start with $100 but it wont have too big of an effect on ur rankings. Maybe try some other methods to make a bit more money so you can start off with like a 10 site PBN.

Exactly, $100 wont cover a 10 site PBN so thats why I said make some extra money so he can make a 10 site PBN. You need around 10 sites to see some ranking improvement for a semi-difficult keyword.

This is accurate. I just found a website on Flippa ranking for a hard kw with only 8 links from a PBN.

if you want good results you must invest thousands$ to buy good aged domains or just see
One of the biggest cons is the cost of developing and maintaining a network.
If you’re using auctions, it’s going to cost you anywhere between $200-$1800 for a good domain.
So, let’s say:

Domain = $500
Private Whois= $5
Hosting= $12
Articles= $20
for ONE site=$537

but the results will be pretty good

True, it really depends on the keyword difficulty, most of my kw are pretty difficult so it takes around 10 sites for me to see good rank improvement. That is why i said semi-difficult )
