The reason why you'd have gained only 2 followers will be because it's a new account and you'd only made 3 tweets, which I'm sure you're aware.
Quotes can work very well on my account, just depending on obviously what the quote it. Humour works well too, and factual/educational posts.
What I advise Henry (which I may have already said), is to build some followers (Follow Liker?) and then see which tweets get the best 'natural retweets' i.e retweets from your own followers (no promotion). Then; once you know which are the most popular ones, get in touch with me again and we'll know which is the best tweet to go with.
That applies to everybody else too - find your best, most popular engaged tweets and have me RT those.
