I have been a silent reader of this journey section of BHW and always had a wish to create online assets which could give me long term income. According to me having a website is the best way to do so.
I do full time freelancing selling different services for living. And that is the only source of income I have currently. So this project will be side project for me (as of now). Once I get success with this website, I will create more. So that I don't have to sell my services anymore and don't have to worry about delivery deadline.
What I have done till now
Registered a short and memorable domain name.
Developed the website using wordpress.
Written 15 posts on the website, all about 500+ words.
Created a fanpage.
Current status
The website gets less than 10 visitors per day.
The fanpage has 90 likes.
As per SEMrush, 150+ keywords are ranking on Top 100 (this is the only positive thing)
I am yet to monetize my website and will only monetize (with adsense) after I get decent traffic continuously.
Upcoming plans
Write more articles.
Grow the fanpage (I am considering it to be my major traffic source apart from Google)
Outsource the articles once website starts making money.
Due to work, I may not be able to update regularly, but I will try. And another thing, I will not stop unless I reach my goal (I have seen many failed journey here).
I will try to reach my goal within December 2017.
