scammed on paypal for 3400

My balance is 3400 dollars becuase i bought bitcoin for someone and then he refunded the money on paypal. Paypal never had my bank info, or phone number but they do have my address. What are the risks of not paying the 3400 becuase i dont want to pay if i got scammed...

If you're in USA, you must pay. if you're outside USA, don't worry. Just tell Paypal that what happened show them the proof. They will not refund the money to him but they wll limit your account.

Don't panic... Just tell them the truth. Paypal will balance your account and limit it. If they do otherwise, they know that they will lose... Because, there's nothing they can do to you. You're not oweing them any money. The worse the can do is limit your account.

There's hundreds of thousands of accounts which I assume have been limited for cases like this. PayPal can't really do anything but limit your account

Luckily paypal can't do anything to you. If you make another account with the same name later down the line they can try to link the accounts, if you have a balance in the account they come after at that point, then they'll get your money that way.

Still can't figure out who a minor jacked $3400 from in the first place and why said minor is trying to buy bitcoin with it. I'll assume for the moment he stole mommy and daddy's paypal account and when they find out they're going to paddle his ass for it.

Oh, are you talking about PaySwat? Yeah, they good! Last year they arrested a bunch of teens. Between 70.000 and 300.000 I've heard and gived them hard time.

if you are outside of US then nothing to worry, you will just loose access to your account, as they will limit it, I know some people who got into same problem and have a Negative -13,000 USD in their account , PayPal send them some warning via email but never call or send anyone in person to get that money,
so just forget it.
