I bought some unindexed pbns :/

Stupid of me .. checked everything except if they are indexed or not .. when I write site:domain.com none of them show up . Should I use them as pbn or rip my money?

I just registered them. So it means they are not penalised?

Google is pretty quick to remove dead websites from their index these days. Three or four years ago, sites would stay in there for a couple of months sometimes. Not so much anymore.

The fact that they are not indexed doesn't really mean anything good or bad.

It doesnt mean that they are penalized, just put up a site and in a few days the sites should get indexed.

Why not? I learned a whole ton about PBNs once i built my first one. Just cause you don't know something doesn't mean you can't try it out right? Some people learn by doing, me included.

That's the spirit, at the end you have to find something that works for you. Testing and doing is the only way to learn what really works.

As far as de-indexed is concerned: If a domain isn't indexed, it often means it naturally dropped out of the index after expiring. Especially if the domain expired some time ago, no results are absolutely fine, it will re-indx once live again with content. Can take a bit, depending on how long it was gone (same with formerly parked domains). Sure, could be de-indexed as in "kicked from the Google index for prior use in a busted PBN", but that's a risk you can minimize with upfront reasearch on the domain. Although it's no guarantee, the backlinks often reveal those domains to avoid, many people can't resist "boosting" their PBNs with additional links.

There is a ton of people who learn by doing, that's great, but the ones with a head try to learn things pre-emptively when they know it will cost them more in terms of time to practically learn vs reward vs time invested to learn preemptive by research

If you learned when it is deindexed you will save yourself a lot of time and money

There is no good excuse to wasting your own time for nothing other than to fall and stand up for something you can learn with a few google searches

If you just registered them, it means they have not content. If they had no content before they dropped for a while, they won't be in the index.
I usually install base WordPress to test indexability before investing further in a domain.

If they have a good archive.org history and good link profiles and not spammed than they should get index soon. Sometimes it can take upto 10 days also.

The fact that the domain is not in indexed doesn't mean anything. There are plenty of toxic domains that are still indexed and aren't penalised only by a miracle and vice versa. Archive.org is insufficient to check the domain history and there's much more to that. You will have to learn by either your mistakes or outsource the domain buying part obviously. Build the ones you have registered and wait for a week or two to see whether or not they will index. If not, try to find out why they haven't. You burned money, sure, but you learnt something new. Plus, you can always copy the content to a new domain, so no big deal there.

However, do not expect that any RD25+ domain with decent TF that you find by yourself will be clean. RD40+ is pretty much impossible nowadays. Use that as a rule of thumb.

Add content to your sites. If still not indexed after a week or so, you can add video sitemap. It helps in indexing.

Add some content on them and they'll get indexed again. What's their history? Don't waste energy, time and money on domains with a spammed history.
