Help stuck in china !!!

Hi everyone , I'm a Canadian who is stuck china. Why? ( read my first post if you wanna know why).
I'm a noob btw.

My question is , Can I apply for CPA while I'm in china? I have a canadian home address, bank account,passport, credit cards all the Identification on me , and a virtual canadian cell phone # thats linked to my china's cell phone# .

I use a chinese vpn to bypass the chinese firewall, so basically I can visit any website in the world.

I visited a CPA website to register, and notice it auto selected USA as the country even though my vpn is connect to Japan ( why is that btw? when i type google.com it auto come up google.jp). so thats weird. I want it to be Canada so everything is legit. (except me not being there)

Anyways, what should I do. Is it even possible to IM in north america while in china ? if yes, is there a best vpn for that ? Also, is there anything I should prepare before I get started?

It's no wonder it redirects to google.jp instead of .com If the VPN is connected to japan. You should be connected to a canadian server to visit Google.ca and US server if you wanted to visit google.com.

You can do IM anywhere in the world as long as you're connected to the internet.
 
Just change your connected server to Canada. Everything will go well.

Thats why I said it was weird. I'm connect to japan and it comes up google.jp , but when I visited CPA website it says I'm in USA

In this case, you'd better contact the customer service of the CPA website to ask for help ASAP.

The IP address range might be from the US and got allocated to a Japan server. Don't think too much into it and see if you're able to select Canda manually in the CPA network site. If not, ditch that VPN and try another provider.

Why would you go to a commercial data center ip vpn provider and then try to apply for a cpa network using a blatant data center ip? Do you really think thats going to work when they review your account and see a happy data center ip address?
 
Where you're located don't really matter. The CPA network or wherever you apply isn't gonna care where you are physically. If you're using all legit info to your Canadian residence I really can't see any reason why you should have any problem at all. I think most ppl in IM understand that ppl might be living abroad, traveling, or have any number of other reasons for not being in a single location all the time. If you did run into any issues I'd just message someone at the CPA network and explain your situation. If they won't work with you try another, because most ppl would. I don't think the IP is going to be an issue really because they're more interested in "who" you are, not "where" you are when you sign up/login. That way they can file the proper tax papers (if necessary), and/or cover their ass if any legal problems should arise.

As far as VPN's go, there's a ton of them out there so go for something stable so you don't have a bunch of headaches and reconnects. IP Vanish is a decent one, and so is TorGuard. You can look around and see if there's any coupons/discounts but I'm not sure if they offer them or not. They both have a pretty healthy amount of servers too in a bunch of locations so they should probably work pretty good for ya.
 
You are stuck in China because? I wish I was stuck there :D

try STRONGVPN its a good platform or you can try others, i believe is the only way
