Sharing you blog or site to relevant audience. Social media and other forums (that are relevant to your site) will help you increase your traffic. It is not much but in the long term (if done properly) it will definitely be a factor that will help your traffic grow.

On page SEO and GOOD content (I mean it) are a must for receiving organic traffic, If you consider other ways of traffic channels, try social networks, their audience is huge and the results are amazing.
Guest posting is also helpful if a post is placed on a relevant and trusty resource with good parameters important for SEO (DA, PA, traffic, Outbound links etc.).
