Hi,

i wanna share a method to gain good cash by exploiting online games (MMO´s).
It has nothing to do with classic e-commerce, websites etc but maybe some of you may find it interesting anyway.

what we aim for here is a big profit in a short time by exploiting the typical market development in MMOs at their release.
this works best with typical asia-pay-to-win MMOs, which means basicly every free to play asia mmo since every single of these games is p2w.

finding a game for this is very easy, browse all the MMO websites about games that are just about to be released, there is always at least one game coming soon.
99% of cases, these games exist in korea/china already for at least half a year and are now translated and published by a western publisher like pwe, my.com, gameforge etc.
this allows you to get tons of early information about future updates (because the western publishers also start with the blank 1.0 game and then release the updates in the same rythm as in asia, just with some months behind)
now you check if/when there will be open/closed betas. if so, wait for them and "play" them, even if u have to buy early access for like 10-20bucks.
if there is no beta planned or no chance for you to participate, check reddit and other big communities, there is much likely a post with instructions of how to play on korean/chinese servers along with some fanmade translation.

Last time i did this method was with a game called "revelation online" released by my.com
This game has been released 2,5 months ago and the economy is pretty stable now, so this exploit wont work anymore there, thats why i tell you exactly what i did.

I got closed beta access and played the betas.
What i was looking for is items everyone needs, especially for their equipment. even if its low level stuff it doesnt really matter.
Check all the equipment NPCs in the big cities, understand how it works to build the best gear there and then look where to get all these items.
reddit is a big help because of the fact these games are out for a while in asia already.
Also checked what class i can play to get these items best with. (usually its healer or tank)
Now i understood what i need, i was looking for an item called "hematite" and an item called "mist of bright jade".
I double checked my research and stopped playing until official release/open beta (usually there is no server reset from open beta to official release, but make sure of that for every game individually)

At release i instantly started playing ALOT. I was only going for these items, as much and fast as possible. some ways had daily/weekly limit, so i made new characters.
Every item i had i sold. hematite started at 80k each, mist of bright jade at 600k each.
Now i bought "aurum" with it.
"Aurum" is a currency you can buy mainly with real money. its typical for these games, cash shop currency to buy cash shop items.
But its also possible to buy aurum from other players with ingame currency either directly or using an auction hall.
1 Aurum was worth around 150 ingame currency at the start.

Check the prices of aurum (€ prices here)
Aurum/Euro
150/1.99
375/4.99
775/9.99
1600/19.99
4100/49.99
9000/99.99

In 4 weeks i made around 180kk and bought aurum for it.
According to my numbers it would be 180kk/150=1.2kk aurum and 9k aurum are 100€.
If course it didnt went like that, because every day the aurum price did grow and the item prices would go down. i stopped doing it when the aurum price was at 600 and the prices for hematite/jade dropped to 9k/70k

Anyway, in total i made roughly 500k aurum which is ~ 5500€/6150$.
But how to transfer the aurum into €/$?
Well, at first you need patience. because the price for aurum will grow more. the more you wait, the more profit you will have. I waited 6 more weeks.
As of today, the aurum price is at 1.8-2.2k (depends on server/region)
I think thats a good price to finally checkout.
I sell all the aurum i have for ingame currency. In total i got nearly 1kkk of ingame currency.

Now i check common gold-selling sites like mmogah, ebay, playerauctions, epvpers etc and check how much $ they want for 10kk.
At mmogah for example, people need to pay 59$ for 10kk. on ebay even more.

Finally, i sell all the ingame currency i have on these platforms or to some cash-shoppers i got to know while playing the game.

End

This works with 90% of all games

I know, my english is not the best and it was probably a hard read but anyway, i hope it helped some people here as its a very good way to earn "big" sums of money with no real investment but time.
of course, this can scale to A HUGE FKN AMOUNT OF MONEY when you are able to code efficient, undetectable bots, clientless bots at best. but i cant, so i did it all on my own.

cheers

I know some people who do this with Runescape and WOW, but it's pretty time consuming for the money you get.

Best marketplace for games is cheat/hack for FPS Games. Yes, you need skills reverse engineer and programming, buy you can get 10k dollar per month fast.

Botting? ^^
Sure, that might work, but it gets patched pretty quick. The friends I've seen that did it did it manually. But they were all teenagers and had nothing better to do.

Exploit Version 2.0

Hire a bunch of kids to play on multiple new MMOs 24/7 by 8 hour shift`s and bank hard every 6 weeks.

All you would need are couple of PC`s set up in your basement and a fridge full with Red Bull.

Its time consuming yes, you will spend a month with playing 6-12h a day. but you do the same with a new big web project you start.
depending on the game you wil get 4-10k in this month, that is much more than most people here earn with their blogs/dropshipping/whatever in one month.

and if you scale big and go for botting with this method you get much more. but thats complicated because you need to code your own bot to not get banned and that will probably take more than the timespan you have for this method.

anyway, theres still money in this even with easy bots everyone can make.
for example i used to script a little autoit script in this game for fishing. some of the very-hard-to-get fish in there (hard because the fishing minigame is only about pressing buttons very fast - perfect for a bot) were worth 50-150k and people bought them like iphones.

as i said. its all about the first month after release, when the economy is totally broken

in my hometown, kids will be lining up to play. i dont even need to pay

thanks for the share, this guide is really useful, especially for those who love play games, I had farm WOW gold 10 years ago, and know a lot of this industry, it has really huge profits if you can do it right and at the right time.

consider I am from the Asia, and RO is really popular as you say in 2015, and this method is thinking outside of the box, WOW, nice reading!

If you want to co-work sth, I can help ( Chinese is no problem, because I am from there)

Thanks for the great tip! unfortunately, I don't have the time to play games though but this is a decent tactic.

what programming language that can be used to create bot ? this will be a gold mine for people who knows coding

depends on the bots you wanna make.
simple bots like my fishing bot or auction hall bots usually use autoit or sikuli.
advanced bots and clientloss bots that work with your memory and tcp/ip will most likely use c++ or python

Real question is where are you gonna sell these currencies and items?? I know there is player auctions and epic npc. However, is there really constant demand there for just about any in-game currency?

There's still money you can make with botting MMO's but I believe they have caught on easy with botting nowadays. I remember the good old WoW days where I would run 3 accounts at 15 hours per day pulling in anywhere from 30-50k gold on average per day...

I've tried getting my hands dirty with Runescape 07 as the demand on there is also high $1+ per mil but they have good bot detection nowadays...

You can buy scripts / bots for pretty much any game I'm pretty sure theres tons out there

Believe it or not, there's one guy who does this way back then when I'm still a kid.

you can sell on plenty places. playerauctions, epic npc, epvpers, ebay.. also other gold seller will buy your gold, at a lower price of course.
also during the "work" you will get in touch with people who spend shitloads of cash in the game, they will buy big sums from you.

best is to code your own bots. there are alot of people "professionally" botting and they do NOT get banned. you just need to do it clever.
however, if you use free bots or these semi-pro cheap bots like viper, you will get banned very fast.

by the end of those 6 weeks, all those kids will be dead from the redbull
