What's up guy, i've been a member on this forum for years now. I've been very very quiet, just looking an attempting different money making strategies and failing the majority of them to say the least lol. But it is safe to say i never really put in as much and got off my ass to take a lot of them seriously. A few days ago I came up @meathead1234 amazon affiliate post. And it really caught my Eye so to track my progress i'm starting a journey on it

So far i've already chosen a niche that sells that i know a lot about and doesn't have too much competition.

I've Purchased a domain name and hosting.

Came up with 10-15 keywords and Key phrases

i've finished my pillar (main article) for my front page.

Now i have like 6 more articles i need to write and an About me bio page.

so it's safe to say i have ALOT of work i still need to do.

Have fun, maybe we can learn from each other.

Good luck, it's a good thread is that.

Out of interest; New domain, expired or an EMD ?

I don't like bumping old threads but to answer your question monthly search volume is only 1 of several metrics you need to use when selecting keywords. Ideal is over 100 but it's also worth going for low hanging fruit (under 100 to boost up traffic) you should also make sure that keyword competition is low, the Amazon affiliate commission's, are the keywords buyer intent? Average product price etc.
