Shopify and 2Checkout, what do you think?

Hi guys,

I'm from a SHIT country that doesn't have SHIT. So we have to strugle with STUPID SHIT problems like this. I want to start shopify store which I'm super convinced I'll have success, I have everything planned and sorted out, but the payment is a big problem for me now.

We have Paypal in my country, but only for making payments, not receiving. I also don't think I can use Shopify's Stripe default payment. What are the alternatives? What do you think I should do, I would especialy like to hear from guys who had similar experiences.

What scares me are payment services that will redirect my visitors to their page, and that is not very professional. I want them to be able to pay while on site, like with Stripe, so It looks more trustworthy.

2checkout is the worst credit card processor I have dealt with. They claim to have all kinds of anti-fraud filters but in reality, their filters are a joke. Their risk team has advised checking every transaction manually. Their customer support is slow, nameless and most of the time they will send you some generic 'fuckoff' answers. So glad I am not using them anymore.

best bet would be paypal but a stealth one and that's what I'm doing atm as paypal is not available in my country, ps. make a canadian one as they won't ask for a ssn and you can use an american bank account w/ it, get a private canadian proxy, sign up using your email, you can use your payoneer account to verify the bank but you won't be able to withdraw for the vcc I'd recommend @Donawoite as his cards have the "billing address and name" that you provide and for the phone number use groove ip

I had 2 "stealth" accounts frozen with $200+ on them, so im done with those stuff as I cant afford to lose more. Its just not worth it

then you most probably did something wrong in the process, either your proxy as bad or something else, my account is like 4 ish months old and had nearly 1K in transactions and I withdraw with the help of a local guy I know, to whose account I send the money over to and he pays me cash

Sure, but his paypal has to be a business account and not a personal one.

For shopify? I guess, but idk... They asked me themselves if I have an account in another country to help me.
As per Paypal and logging in from another country, that never was a problem for me and my cousin. He has 2steps verifications, and he gives me his sms code himself, and I guess my IP is not trusted, never had problems lol.

Yes, you can use that but make sure that it is a company's account not a personal one or else you will encounter problem also.

He has a personal account, but I think it's easy to transfer it to a Business account.
But if I go with paypal payment only, what about credit cards? I'll have to use Stripe in his name aswell I guess, but the germany sucks about taxes..

Yes it is easy to make it to a business account. If you will use Stripe as well you have to name it under him /what your business name.
