My THIRD attempt to reason with moderators here on BHW. Apparently they're are not fans of reason or nuance, and are more interested in preserving their egos. If this is the way they want to run their site (via snowflake-ego-preservation) I will continue to speak my case. Fragile egos be damned...sorry snowflakes. It must be devastating...
This is pNuker, I've had an account here on BHW for 9 years now (since 2008). I was originally invited here by Diamond Dave himself. I've never had a single strike against me and not a single complaint to my name. I've had nothing but good interactions with everybody I've come accross on this forum for almost a decade.
I was just banned by the mod 'BassTrackerBoats' due to what I percieve to be unwarranted personal animosity towards me because of a disagreement of how I WORDED a thread about how to go after somebody that has hacked my twitter account. Rather than simply explain to me that these tactics weren't supported, he insisted that I was a HACKER trying to get revenge upon some unnamed entity that has yet to be named. Spoiler...it was MY account that was hacked.
After multiple attempts to explain to BassTrackerBoats that it was MY twitter account I was trying to recover/stop (by banning the hacker), he took it to mean that I was soliciting adivice on how to hack an account in order to get revenge on somebody. This baseless assumption led to his apparent animosity towards me. This was an incorrect assumption, and I hate incorrect assumptions. I had some choice words due to the blatant misrepresentation directed towards me. So...sue me...
I am yet to be convinced that I broke a single rule, and I made that very clear to BassTrackerBoats. I got the impression that my ban was more to do with a dislike for my CALLING HIM OUT than to do with actual broken rules. I wonder if BassTrackerBoats will ever respond to me, as opposed to some random cronies (having no knowledge of the situation) having a knee-jerk reaction and having a ban-happy frenzy...time will tell. Either way, I'm documenting (and have been documenting) this entire process. Interestingly enough, it's pretty entertaining at this point. I never though it would get this ridiculous.
