Is there somewhere a guide which contains step by step how to migrate my website from http to https without losing rankings?
Website is based on Wordpress.

Thanks.

I also shifted my one site to https but it didn't loss its ranking

correct me if I am wrong, you'll lose rankings but eventually get them back in a few weeks?

I've updated one of my sites to https... before some of the more modern algo updates though.
My rankings seemed to continue going up like normal still.

backlinks pointing to http would face a 301 permanent redirect from http to https, not sure if this is an exception but usually redirects dont pass all juice, solution is to start from https

I lost rankings for 1-3 months (some keywords are still steadily climbing back to where they were), but it was probably because some weird shit happened and all my internal links were nofollowed. I think it is an issue with Genesis and the really simple ssl plugin, but its probably resolved now.

You won't lose rankings. If you do, it will be temporary. Set preferred domain in search console, setup http to https redirect in .htaccess and use the following plugin to move any content currently located on http to https: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/

NO You wont lose rankings for weeks or not even days just be sure to add the property in webmaster and google will take care of it.
I moved 2 websites this month and not a single ranking drop or traffic loss.

Do you have a guide on properly migrating to https?
