Dang. I was on YouTube, and I came across this vid of a Judge Judy episode where she goes apesh*t on a girl who did a description auction scam on eBay. After watching this, that's one BH tactic I'll never try...

yeah I saw that. She deserved to get nailed. She was blatently ripping ppl off. It stated she is under federal investigation also. Apparently there were other victoms.

Yes, I saw that on tv awhile back.

Judge Judy is a joke though. I hate that bitch!

You know, this case probably sets precedence now, giving others legal grounds to sue for this kind of scam as well. People who are doing this better watch themselves...

The transaction was legal. The seller did nothing wrong. Its not her fault she couldnt read the auction. that happens alot with me , I will oput in big bold words"used" and a buyer buys then when he gets the product they say "hey this is suppose to be new".lol

I swear Ebay buyers never read the auction..

The seller is not going to get prosecuted because she was well within her rights and delivered what she sold

exactly.. i to had some probs with buyers not reading the auction. i mean, c'mon man who in their right mind would buy something without reading what it is your getting first?

there are some real stupid ebayers out there. im sorry but its true lol

I think it's pretty stupid to defend someone selling a piece of paper. It's clearly meant as a scam. No one would pay hundreds of dollars for a picture. Doesn't matter if they read the auction or not.

Yah I agree with ya on that one. When I was first getting started I sold a data cd on where to get free phones for 29 bucks buy it now and the guy thought he was getting the phone that retails for like 500. Come on...

I even said that he was getting a cd in the auction description, title and in my shipping terms.

Geeeeeeeeeees.

And this is coming from a blackhatter

don't really 'blackhat', but regardless..it's not a defense--she got what was coming to her, and so will anyone else that pulls that type of shit..

in the case of smitty though..i'd take his side. there is a difference between pricing it the same as the actual product in an attempt to trick the person

its only a good scam if no one gets hurt by it, insurance covered it, and if you don't get caught in yer scam, 80% of marketing is a scam. read the fine print i guess. anyways she looks like a meth head and talks like one too. just my 5 cents.

Not really since the producers of that show pay the judgements, heck both the plaintiff and the defendant get paid something like $100 each and $35/day and they are usually there for a few days for filming.

So I doubt she learned any lesson

thats a clear SCAM...paying a hundreds for a 2 pieces of paper with a picture?lol

A lot of people lack basic reading comprehension
