Is Dropshipping Fidget Spinners a Good Idea?

So many doubters it's sad. Just because everyone is selling them doesn't mean the market is over-saturated.

You can still make money with this. I was selling 5-10 a day on etsy for $10/each until I got kicked off their platform for violating TOS lol.
(Tip: Etsy competition is weak so optimize your listing for your main keyword and it will rank well with their search algo.)

Not going to make you rich but it's easy money and takes 10 minutes to setup.

I was drop shipping a bunch of products so I'm not sure which one broke their "TOS". They could never actually show me how I broke their agreement. All they told me was that items listed as hand made must be hand made or they are not eligible for sale. Likely, I accidentally checked handmade on one of the several hundred listings I had up there. So they seized the opportunity to boot me.

I tried to call them out on it but I think my operation got a little too big there and drew attention. My speculation is that a lot of my products were too "main stream" type products so it was obvious that I was just drop shipping everything and that's not what Etsy is going for.

TL;DR Don't go too crazy with hundreds of listings of products that are obviously not yours. Stay small.

Did you see the story of the guy who saw the crowdfunding for the original fidget cube thing? He saw an opportunity, and his version hit the market before the original idea did. He was eventually served a C&D, but by then he already made around $900k.

It's a different animal. I was using Etsy because of weak competition. Ebay has hundreds if not thousands of people selling them there.

It makes sense then for this particular product to target any marketing to parents, in that case no? Go where the buying power is.
