Question: switching from ISP IP to private proxy for Twitter bot

I'm thinking of running a bot on some aged twitter accounts (2-10 years) - to follow/unfollow, random likes etc. My approach would be very conservative numbers, and then increase slowly each day.

I've read some threads and the general opinion is no more than 5 accounts on one private proxy, 3 is preferred, or even better 1 proxy for 1 account.

Am i right to assume that if I created my twitter account in e.g. USA, I should continue using a US proxy? If my twitter account were to suddenly switch from my dynamic IP provided by my ISP, to a different type of US proxy, would it matter? Or am i overthinking things?

If you're on a dynamic, then I don't imagine the switch will be too difficult, but you should stay with USA. Basically, you've trained them to not expect a static IP from you. Switching to a static won't be a problem in my opinion. Anytime my IP had to change, like switching proxy providers, I send out a message like "ugh, can't wait for this move to be over" or something like that. That way, if the account gets suspended, I can point to that tweet and be like "I moved!" It's probably overkill, but it makes me sleep better.

It doesn't matter. I used to buy accounts which were created with ips from all over the world and i used them with US private proxies, sometimes i even logged in with my European ip by mistake. Never had an issue because of this.

Also, if your accounts are phone verified and you have access to the phone numbers, even if you're getting locked, you can unlock the accounts easily.

It got me thinking, when i use twitter 'normally', i could be logging in from my home/work wifi, using cell networks, logging in overseas, sometimes logging in with my VPN switched on. Never had an issue so far.

My accounts are all phone verified. I plan to start testing with my less important twitter accounts first. That's why I want to use a proxy that will separate my main accounts from the less important ones.

Sometimes we tend to overthink things, don't we? But that's the blackhat way of life

I've checked the Twitter log settings for my locations. I believe they store up to the last 50 locations. It's quite interesting to see my own browsing habits... the IPs change all the time, especially when i'm using my cell.

how many account on one proxy?
3 account on one proxy is safe but i will suggest you to use one for one.
Does IP matters?
Ip sometimes matters but if your account is PVA then its safe you can unlock any times

So if my account is PVA, it doesn't matter if it was created on.... let's say, UK IP address but using an India proxy? Thanks.

It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters I think is if the proxy is detected as a proxy. If it's detected as a proxy and you log in with it and start tweeting/following ertc. you have about 24h until your account is banned.

Hey man i just wanted to ask if you're still doing twitter botting, and if so, are you using a proxy from the BST? Would love some recommendations.
