What determines Facebook Ad rates for conversions/leads

Started running ads and I'm getting charged $10 per lead.

I'm new to FB ads, so what is determining that price? How do I get it lower?

That seems very expensive.

The way to lower CTR is a good ad, that gets naturally shared (so lower cost per lead) and extremely targetted at the right people.

Don't boost posts. Use the ad manager to laser target. Start with a bid so low you won't get impressions, increase from there. Don't do the opposite.

Unless you're selling real estate I think U$ 10 per lead is ridiculously high.

Don`t target countries.Target cities.
Add more interests.
Try to lower your custom audience to around 20 K people.

Ps. Adwords and bing are better as they dont have bots running around helping to crush your cash , facebook does....

Ppl still seem to make good money from facebook .

I think better trying it free with spam group posting......(( buy facebook accounts and spam the niche you want traffic from , each time a account dies re load another account go agin....

I am pretty sure most adds are from group posts anyway ...
