did you check if it was it an auto payment inside paypal?

I never initiated any payment and noone can and should steal money without permission.
tnx

Well then how are they supposed to know to not take your payment if you didn't request the cancellation. They didn't steal anything from you. The only one I see at fault in my honest opinion is you.

yeah, you subscribed to a recurring hosting plan, so it will automatically charge money from your account.

you should cancel it if you don't need the host anymore.

That transaction was just a few days ago.
If you contact Hostwinds support, I think they will refund your money and cancel the host.

mate auto subscription was never initiated by me, hence again tactful stealing.

I think they will and should, as i have been their client since 3-4 years.

tnx

if you had auto billing enabled they would be charging you automatically. sending a mail to hostwinds support should get your money refunded if you had requested a cancellation. If you hadn't requested cancellation until now even paypal won't be able to help you as its technically money you owe...

This can't be, otherwise they wouldn't be able to automatically charge you via PayPal.

You'll find your list of pre-approved payments here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_manage-paylist

How did they charge you in that 3-4 years since you're using them? Did you pay manually each time? Even if you did, with the last payment you must have subscribed to a recurring payment plan (without you noticing).

@pulkitseo something similar had happened with me when I decided to move on from their service.
The problem in my case was auto billing enabled. Just login to your PayPal cancel the subscription payments & open ticket for service cancellation.

This should solve. They used to have quick support last year when I used them.

If anyone could just take money out of someone's PayPal without some type of authorization, PayPal wouldn't be in business long lol. Coming to this forum and asking for help won't do you any good. You need to reach out to host winds and get the issues resolved through them. Again your logic that they stole your money doesn't make sense because if anyone could get into someones PayPal and "steal" money it wouldn't be a well known webhosting provider lol.

Hello Pullkit,

If you would, please private message me your account email I can look into this for you.

It's clearly your fault that not cancel the pre-approved payment. There's noway PP can process the payment without your permission.
I have been a Client for almost 2 years and their service is really good.

honestly you have auto subscription enabled in your PayPal account and you forget to cancel it and now you are blaming hosting company for your own mistake, also no one can steal money from anyone's PayPal unless they have access to it.

Just submit a ticket and talk to them. I am pretty sure they will refund you. I know you think you've been cheated but it's not the case. Just talk to them first before calling them thieves. :)
