I am looking to replicate a model I've noticed from an Instagram account with about a million followers. Virtually 100% of their posts are copyrighted video content. I've been following them for 6+ months now. They seem to post the same shoutout all the time - letting me know what they're doing is definitely making money. The question is... is there any reason I should hesitate before posting copyrighted content?

Yeah no sh!t - i didn't ask for the definition of copyright. I was asking what the general content of the videos are
It would be mostly sports highlights.
The other accounts I've been following aren't crediting the original owners of the content (ESPN & other major networks).

I am not an expert on Instagram, but I've never seen anyone be banned for posting copyrighted content on there.
