1. how long does it take for listings to rank better, whats the average amount of sales i gotta do in a month.

The algorithm is proprietary and quite often unpredictable but in my opinion account strength is #1 factor, followed by sell through rate. It's not just the amount you sell that's important; what % of listings sell is also crucial. It is also known that eBay favors new listings over re-listings.

2. Also, how can i drive in traffic to my ebay store?

Ranking is #1 factor, even more than price. People used to be able to game the listings to rank but that's gotten much more harder the last few years. My advice is if you're going to do this long term, do not take shortcuts, since eBay and Amazon tweak their algorithms all the time which wipe out the ranking tricks.

i was doing dropshipping and customer didnt get product and i need refunded them,seller on ebay didnt provide tracking number,now when i ask for refund he want me to send product back.. for sure i dont have product.. what to do?

1. You just got scammed by either your drop shipper or the customer, kiss your money goodbye. You have no proof of anything.

2. This is exactly the reason you should NEVER use a dropshipper that doesn't supply correct tracking number within 24 hours of the item shipping.

but i have proofs that i buy and sell from same paypal with customer adresses where i get complains.. is not only 1 order is like 20-30... how i can resolve this?ebay support is shit and i cant do anything via ebay..

If you have no proof of delivery, nothing else matters in 99% of the cases. I guess you can try calling up eBay and saying that the customer is trying to scam you, but then chances are what will happen is that you'll be asked to provide proof of delivery and that will be the end of it if you don't have proof of delivery. But call them anyways. Sounds like you have nothing to lose at this point.

because i use same paypal to buy on ebay and to sell my customer
so if paypal refund my customer for 1 order they hould refund me from seller from ebay.. but i dont know how to process this because resolution center dont redirecting me nowhere and ebay customer support dont exist

Why would paypal refund you if you can't show proof of delivery? You are not covered under Paypal's seller protection because you have to proof of delivery. Paypal will refund your customer and take it out of your paypal account and that will be the end of it. The ones to ask refunds for are your supplier, not paypal. Most likely your supplier will claim that they sent the merchandise and refuse to refund.

No. It doesn't work that way. Remember, that on paypal/eBay, if it's a buyer's word against the sellers, and there's no proof, the buyer will win most of the time. It's seller's responsibility to prove that the package was delivered. No proof of delivery and buyer claims he did not get it, he will automatically get his purchase refunded. Your only hope is that someone at paypal manually intervenes after deciding that the buyer is pulling a scam. That's why I said you need to call in.

I think the OP might be asking if he can file a claim against his dropshipper in paypal since he is the buyer and they did not provide proof of delivery either. I don't have much experience with paypal in such matters but I don't see why it would not work other than maybe the shipping address would not match with the one on OP's account.

Edit: If the dropshipper did not ship to the address on file could that also void his seller protection in Paypal?

As I said, it's worth a shot calling in, but dollars to donuts says the drop shipper is somehow insulated himself from situations like this, like Paypal rules in drop shipper's country being different than customer's country. If the OP is lucky, paypal will decide to eat the loss and refund him.

Im new here and trying to learn and just want to say thanks to tom for this great thread. Fantastic at explaining stuff and I have a substantially higher idea of what it takes to do things properly on ebay.

They will ban new accounts linked to old accounts. But in the big picture, unless you owe thousands, nothing much. But in general, abandoning accounts with debits is a piss poor long term business decision.
