Say for example you have a site on German Shepherds that contains several articles that are ranked in google for their keywords, but you also want to get traffic from Pinterest.

And lets also say that everything that can be said on the topic of German Shepherds has already been covered on my site.

So what can you do to get traffic from Pinterest?

Just create a tonne of new images linking to my already existing articles?

Or would you have to keep on churning out new articles on your site for all eternity to keep the traffic coming in?

1. search Pinterest for pics of "german shepherds"
2. make those pics unique: add some noise or flip them horizontally
3. put those pics into your articles (you can even make a slider gallery and put there as many pics as possible)
4. add "pin it" button to your site
5. share all the pics across pets related group boards

So what you're saying is, you can simply use images as content instead of articles?

not exactly
as you mentioned - you have articles covering your topic, so just fill this existing articles with a lot of relevant pictures and share these pics across Pinterest.
pm me and I`ll show you an example
