[Help] Does anyone know how to unlock Facebook?

My aunt facebook was locked even after submitting her ID verification. No, she is not using her account for IM in case you ask. The issue is that she has registered her facebook using her phone number and there was no way to contact facebook for an update regarding the status of her document review. Does anyone here have any idea about contacting facebook with regards to this situation?

Precisely. I think facebook is locking accounts currently and there must be something that my aunt did that causes the bot to mistake her account as one that deserves to be locked. The Facebook account has been around since 10 years ago. I wonder what is going on with Facebook.

Yes I got a reply from Facebook as I got my aunt to submit her identification again with embassy notary public and copied the authority email and person in charge of notary public. Her account was instated almost immediately when I cc the '.gov' email along with a written email confirmation from the authority that the ID documents were legit and if in doubt Facebook can contact the authority directly through written email. Lots of official protocol to go through before finally getting the account back. But the email from the authority was really powerful since Facebook replies the very same day (less than 2 hours ) and got my aunt account reinstated. I guess email to Facebook will only be replied if it is sent from an authority or official channel?

There is no point to try to send mails and talk it out since they will want my id and info too bad my 10 year old acc...

Yes Facebook is becoming more strict nowadays due to fake news, spammers issue. In my aunt case, she wants her account back as it is akin to her life journal. That is why we took more effort to go through all these steps. Nevertheless Facebook take the matter more seriously the moment you get authorities involved and account reinstatement is very fast the moment that they can verify that the authorities are willing to vouch for the identify of the person involved.

yeah like asking for info will stop fake news and bot spam and other stuff it's more like "yee umm look now skilled people you make money out of us and you get rich so we gonna ban you and make you pay and give us all the info so we can charge you or jail you if you dont want to share your profits with us"

Glad your Aunt got her FB account back. But I hope you warn her about tying too much of her life and personal information up on a social networking platform. You shouldn't have to give all type of documents and get authorities involved and all that for and social networking platform. This is getting ridiculous and people need to ween themselves off of allowing Facebook or any social network or online platform to house and control their personal information.
