I didn't want to post here without searching around first, but as I've found nothing reliable here or on google, I want to hear what you guys think about it.

So, I have an authority AA site and my crappy hosting (shared) is expiring soon, so I want to move on to a VPS, the problem is I don't want to spend much here and I was thinking about an offshore unmanaged hosting so I can cut costs this way.

My question is, my site being totally white hat, targeting US users, can an offshore hosting hurt my SEO? Am I being paranoid with this and should make the move and just use CloudFlare?

Choose an offshore server which gets you better latency. As long as the latency is not higher than your shared hosting, you should be fine with the move.

Thanks, will look around for some options.
