Hi

I bought and setup an expired domain for my pbn. Its been over 2 days and the domain has not indexed yet.

I have setup wordpress + 2 posts + xml sitemap plugin.

Brand new domains usually index within 24 hours, but this is the first time I have bought an expired domain for pbn.

Is it okay for an expired domain to take some time to index ? Or is it a sign of problem if it does not index within 2-3 days.

Did you check if it was penalized. Add it on Google webmasters and see if there is any manual action. Fetch as google and submit to index which should speed up the process if everything is fine with it.

Submit it to google, if it doesn't index its likely penalized

You can also check for penalty through online tools like https://feinternational.com/website-penalty-indicator/

These tools for determination of penalties are utter joke. I can make one in an hour. Please don't spread crap like this, thank you. I've had a few clients who run my perfectly clean domains through such amazing tools crying about them being penalised. I almost lost it. Either learn how to check your domains by hand or outsource it. If there were actual tools that could do this, I wouldn't spend hours a day checking the domains.

OP - 2 days is absolutely nothing. Add more content and wait. It can take up to a week or even two for it to get indexed. Also, make sure that domain is not spammed or has terrible history, no idea where you bought it from in the first place.

Or send it over, I can take a look.

complete the on-site, add HQ contents and wait for a couple of days.
Expired domains might take longer to index in case if there were not a regular update.
pages that are regularly updated are more frequently indexed.

Expired domains may take 1 or 2 weeks to get index. Adding quality contents regularly and also try to build some backlinks to those articles for indexing faster. If you submit this on Google Indexing then it will be hurt your site. You can also check the regular indexing intervals of those blogs to get cleared.

It takes some time to index. Keep adding unique articles and build some quality links. Verify it has no manual penalty, backlinks, and history of the domain.

Set it up to work with IFTTT and post a few articles. Thank me later.

If you don't know how, check steps 4.6 and 4.7 from this article.

It may take some time.please do wait for a 2-3 week.Keep maintaining your site on page & off page SEO perfectly.

If there is no penalty in Search Console, just keep building out the site. Then onces its indexed, let it mature for a month before linking out to your money site.

It will take a bit longer than 2 days to index. Give it a week or so.

Thanks for the tips. I am scraping domains myself.
I shall wait on this domain and see when it indexes.

If anyone is adding pbn sites to google search console, you are doing it wrong.

Thanks everybody, its 4th day today and the domain is indexed.
Though I added a youtube video yesterday.

Depends on the quality of your PBN's i never submit them to google, i wait a few days and they usually re-index themselves.
